Artwork Guidelines
Artwork guidelines for custom labels include the appropriate fonts, logo, art, image files, barcodes, correct platform, bleed applications, colours and delivery to achieve the highest printing standards.
Fonts
Please supply any fonts used in your job.
Note: Files with fonts 'converted to paths' or 'outlined' cannot be easily edited, therefore if changes are required additional charges may be incurred
Logo Files
For optimum quality, all vector (line art) logos must be supplied in their original file format, ie. EPS or Adobe Illustrator. Logos supplied as JPEGs (made up of dots) will not produce a good result when printed.
Art Files
EPS or PDF formats are acceptable. Please include all support or linked files and specify any PMS colours required. If your art is created in Photoshop please supply the layered file (.psd), i.e. keeping image and type layers seperate.
Image Files
Please supply all images as separate files (even if they are embedded in the file we still require them). Images should be supplied at 300dpi, and will be printed CMYK unless PMS Duotone / Monotone are specified in the file.
Barcodes
Please submit barcode numbers with your artwork. We will reproduce your barcode using our software. Barcodes will be printed at 85-100% magnification to GS1 guideline specifications.
