Sustainability initiatives

APCO

As a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant (APCO), insignia is working towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets. This focuses on sustainable material sourcing and manufacturing, right through to the end-of-life product disposal. We are committed to providing our customers with products and solutions that have minimal impact on the environment.

PEFC

insignia use PEFC certified products for carton packaging. By sourcing PEFC, we are supporting sustainably managed forests globally. The PEFC logo on our cartons ensures that our packaging comes/come from sustainably managed forests, recycled and controlled sources. Every purchase of a PEFC-labelled product makes a difference for forests and forest communities across the world.

ecoBiz

Partnering with our waste partner, Veolia, the Winson Group have been working to implement better recycling channels throughout our sites nationwide. This involves implementing Multisort bins for landfill, co-mingle, organic waste, and paper in our offices, and TerraCycle bins for PPE in our manufacturing facilities.

Through this project we have seen a 12% reduction in waste year on year at our Brisbane site alone, which has seen us recognized as an ecoBiz 2-star partner for our reduction in waste and energy.
