Our graphic designers assist with colour and die recommendations, as well as label design and layout, always working closely with our certified printers to ensure your labels bring your brand to life.
We offer basic label design services, including amendments to current work.
Before sending your artwork to us, it is advisable to do one final copy and content check. insignia will perform one round of corrections free of charge. Any subsequent corrections, or modifications, may incur additional charges.
Our graphic designers are trained by GS1 to ensure your label's barcode meets specification and barcodes are verified as part of our quality check and sign-off process. Verification evaluates the barcode to ensure accurate and efficient scanning.
Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Please supply any fonts used in your job.
Note: Files with fonts 'converted to paths' or 'outlined' cannot be easily edited, therefore if changes are required additional charges may be incurred
EPS or PDF formats are acceptable. Please include all support or linked files and specify any PMS colours required. If your art is created in Photoshop please supply the layered file (.psd), i.e. keeping image and type layers seperate.
For optimum quality, all vector (line art) logos must be supplied in their original file format, ie. EPS or Adobe Illustrator. Logos supplied as JPEGs (made up of dots) will not produce a good result when printed.
Please supply all images as separate files (even if they are embedded in the file we still require them). Images should be supplied at 300dpi, and will be printed CMYK unless PMS Duotone / Monotone are specified in the file.
A bleed of 3mm is required
The maximum number of colours that can be used is 8, or 7 if a varnish or laminate is specified.
Please submit barcode numbers with your artwork. We will reproduce your barcode using our software. Barcodes will be printed at 85-100% magnification to GS1 guideline specifications.
