Flexographic printing is widely recognised as the industry’s preferred label printing process. Recent advances in flexographic technology have amplified its benefits and contributed to its emerging popularity. Flexography uses flexible ‘plates’ made of rubber or plastic. These plates have a slightly raised image and are rotated on a cylinder which transfers the image to the label facestock, using fast-drying ink.
