MCL software

This software brings ‘built-in’ intelligence to the production floor allowing Datamax printers to stand alone. That means no control PC which means no PC viruses, hardware failures, tempting internet or PC games to slow workflows. Valuable floor area is used for production with just one point of control and operator oversight.

Cost of installation and hardware is almost halved, as the printer arrives with its ‘intelligence’ already loaded and then is programmed to meet specific needs.

Recommended for:
  • Standalone applications.
  • Receiving or sending real-time data.
  • Connecting to ERP systems (such as SAP) or databases (such as Oracle, FoxPro, Act, Access, Excel, anything that is Microsoft ODBC compliant).
  • Connecting and controlling secondary devices, such as another printer, weigh scales, scanner, PDA, keyboard/pad or modem.
