insignia attended the 27th National Print Awards in March 2010 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. The national awards are held by The Printing Industries Association of Australia, the most renowned representative organisation in the industry, and the labels are judged by a selection of printing experts. insignia received a bronze medal for Petco’s ‘Vitalife’ label in the category: “Flexographic printing on any substrate”. insignia were granted entry into this competition when they won Gold for this label at the 2009 Queensland Printing Industries Craftsmanship Awards. Andy Hecke, the National Sales and Marketing Manager for insignia believes that “this achievement is a testament to the hard working and passionate team at insignia. When everyone from the sales team to the press operators desires excellence you are bound to see results. With our new press room and an increase in printing presses we hope to see an increase in awards to!”
The event is now recognised worldwide and aims to increase the already high standard of printing in Australia. The theme of the night was “Who is the fairest of them all” reflecting the celebration of excellence at the event. The team at insignia felt honoured to win such a prestigious award.
