On the 18th of May insignia announced that they had signed a contract to acquire Compass Labels. Compass Labels is a well respected label converter based in Ringwood Melbourne who have been operating successfully since the late 1980s. They have a very similar go to market strategy as insignia, but they operate in a slightly different sector.
The 13 Compass Labels staff members, predominantly based out of their Ringwood site, will be joining the insignia team commencing on the 31st May. It will be business as usual for Compass customers as insignia will continue to run Compass Labels as a separate business.
