Check the cord is plugged in, the power at the wall socket is on, and the printer power switch is turned on.

If you are using normal paper, check you have transfer ribbon loaded.

Change your heat and speed settings. If your print is splotchy and light, increase your heat and slow down the print speed. If your print is dark and not crisp, increase the print speed and reduce the print heat.

Hold down the menu button on your printer, this will cycle the screen brightness from light to dark. When you like the contrast release the menu button.

Confirm your printer is connected to the PC via cable supplied and the windows print driver is set to the correct port.

When you have your software open select the help icon. Within this area type in designing a label.
